Sitting on lawn, facing one another, as on the opposite banks of a river, the spectators are bathed in one big and soft musical stream, continuously flowing. The middle space, like a river bed, is propitious to strange, rustling apparitions, intimist soli, murmured speech, short vibratory legerdemain… A creation around musical mellowness and sound wonder, by the Aix-en-Provence CFMI musicians.
The Tale of the Murmurs is an educational project that implied students at Aix-en-Provence CFMI, from 2009 to 2011. The show was included in their final diploma validation.
Coproduction: Aix-en-Provence and Théâtre Antoine Vitez | Delegated production: Sphota, with the aid of Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur DRAC, SACEM and Ile-de-France Regional Council.
